The 9th European Physics Olympiad is held in Sofia, Bulgaria. There are 30 European nations and 10 guest nations participating in this Olympiad (see below).

The graphs of total scores have scores normalized to maximal possible score, 100%; horizontal axis has the square root of the number of contestants reaching the given score.
